Autopsy conducted on man's body after family claims clinical trials led to his death

Following the allegations of Vangara Nagaraju's family that clinical trials led to his death, an autopsy was conducted by the Forensic Science Laboratory team on Monday.
The team arrived at Nagampet village in Jammikunta mandal, Karimnagar and dug out his body. Nagaraju died on June but the family initially thought the death occurred due to a heat stroke but found some documents indicating that he was involved in clinical drug trials in Bengaluru.
The family have approached the Lotus Labs officials at Bengaluru who assured them to compensate with Rs 19,000 along with travel costs but they are seeking compensation like insurance for Nagaraju's death.
