Narayanapur: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat said the State government is taking all possible measures to make Telangana a safe place in the nation.

Mahesh Bhagwat along with MLC Karne Prabhakar, MLA Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy on Saturday launched the CC camera surveillance in Narayanapur mandal headquarter.

Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated MLC Karne Prabhakar for sanctioning Rs 15 lakh from MLC funds to setup 30 CC cameras at Narayanapur to enhance security at the Mandal headquarters. Describing, CCTVs as third eye, he urged the people to cooperate with the police to maintain law and order in Rachakonda Commissionerate area.

MLC Karne Prabhakar stated that after the formation of Telangana, crime rate in the State has decreased drastically due to the vision and reforms by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

District Collector Anitha Ramachandran stated that new technology has playing important role in all spheres including public security. She appreciated MLC Karne Prabhakar's initiative at Narayanapur that will provide better security arrangements to the locals.

As a part of his tour, Mahesh Bhagwat along with other guests planted saplings at Narayanapur police station premises.
DCP Yadagiri, ZPTC Bujji and local people also participated.
