Singareni Polls: TBGKS all set to retain representative union status

Hyderabad: Telangana Boggu Ghani Karimka Sangham (TBGKS) is all set to retain its company level representative union status. It had won (Yellandu and Kothagudem corporate) of the 11 divisions with impressive margins .

TBGKS is leading in Manuguru, Bellampalli and other divisions. The counting started late in the evening of Thursday at Kothagudem and Bellampalli.

The TBGKS bagged Yellandu division of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited. The TBGKS won the area with an impressive margin of 217 votes. Break up of votes polled – TBGKS -617, AITUC -400, HMS -36 and invalid 7.

Yellandu is the place where the coalmining started. The TGBKS has assured the coal workers in the area of steps for reopening the mines that were closed by the previous regimes.

It was one of the strongholds of the AITUC, now conceded to the TBGKS.

Kothagudem Corporate

The TBGKS won the Kothagudem Corporate division with a margin of 585 votes. The voters in the division are mainly the surface employees.

The TBGKS is leading in the Manuguru division amd Bellampalli division. The counting started in Kothagudem divisions late in the evening and the outcome is likely to be announced late in the night.

The TBGKS celebrated its victory in Kothagudem corporate and the Yellandu division in a grand scale .
