Yadagirigutta: War of words took place between Mothkupally Narsimhulu, independent candidate and supported by BLF, and Congress candidate Budida Bikshamaiah Goud over a clash between Congress and Mothkupally supporters during election campaign in Mallapur village in Yadagirigutta mandal on Tuesday.

Protesting against misbehaviour of Congress workers, Mothkupally along with his supporters staged a dharna in Mallapur on the day. Soon after getting the information, police rushed to the spot and took Narsimhulu and his followers into custody to avoid any untoward incidents.

Speaking to the media at Turkapally police station, Mothkupally Narsimhulu said that Congress activists intentionally obstructed his election campaign at Mallapur village by hitting his vehicle with the vehicle of Budida Bikshamaiah Goud’s campaign vehicle. He said that he was upset at the unparliamentarily language used by Congress party workers against him in the name of caste.

Mothkupally alleged that his life is in threat from Congress leader Budida Bikshamaiah Goud and his supporters. Meanwhile addressing the media at Yadagirigutta, DCC president and Congress candidate Budida Bikshamaiah Goud condemned Mothkupally’s comments against the party workers and him.

Mothkupally making false allegations as he was jealous after seeing the crowd to Congress bike rally held in Yadagirigutta, he asserted. He questioned the solidarity of TRS leaders to Mothkupally during the protest demonstration in Mallapur.
