Bandaru Dattatreya, Paripoornananda campaign for BJP candidates
BJP leaders Swami Paripoornananda and former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday campaigned for the party candidates in the length and breadth of erstwhile Khammam district and appealed to the people to vote for the saffron party candidates in the upcoming elections
Kothagudem/Khammam: BJP leaders Swami Paripoornananda and former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya on Monday campaigned for the party candidates in the length and breadth of erstwhile Khammam district and appealed to the people to vote for the saffron party candidates in the upcoming elections.
Paripoornananda campaigned for BJP’s Kothagudem candidate B Prabhakar Reddy and Bhadrachalam candidate K Satyavathi. Addressing the media persons, Paripoornananda said Congress, TDP and TRS regimes deceived the people and neglected the development of Telangana while the BJP wants to develop the State on all fronts.
The Khammam district has special significance in Telangana. So far the development had been not on the expected lines in Khammam district as all the parties that ruled the state were interested only in politics. The BJP would release a special manifesto towards the development of the erstwhile Khammam district, he added. The BJP candidates would strive for development sans corruption, Paripoornananda pointed out.
Describing Congress and TRS as corrupt parties, he said people are looking towards BJP. He claimed that the BJP would fight against poverty and free the state from corruption. “As a preacher of Bhagavad Gita, I came close to the masses in the State. I do not want to confine myself to preaching alone. There is my need for society and that is why I entered into campaigning in the elections to face the present political situation in the State”, he added. He also took part in road shows and public at Kothagudem and Bhadrachalam.
Meanwhile, former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya toured Khammam city on Monday. He campaigned for the BJP candidate for Khammam Assembly seat U Sarada at FCI warehouses, Gandhi Chowk and other areas. Addressing a public meeting, he said for the development of the district Sarada has to be elected. Addressing the media persons, he described Praja Kutami as a Maya Kutami. Soon after the Assembly elections they would fall apart and go on their ways, he anticipated.
