Kothagudem: The distribution of voter slips is going on smoothly in the district and will end on December 2, said District Collector Rajath Kumar Saini while addressing an event in the city on Thursday.
The booth level officers are distributing the voter slips from door-to-door in all consistencies. He asked the people who haven’t received their voter slips not to get panicked. Instead, they must demand the booth level officers to provide the same to them.
Wheel chairs are being arranged for the physically challenged people so that they can cast their votes on the polling day at all polling stations. A special vehicle is also arranged to ferry the blind people to the polling booths, said the collector. He appealed to the staff members who are on elections duty to cast their votes through the postal ballot.
