Harish Rao launches slew of works

Siddipet: MLA Harish Rao has laid the foundation stone for CC Road construction works at a cost of Rs 30 lakhs and Tanjim-ul-masjid at a cost of Rs 7.50 lakhs, here on Monday.Later, Harish Rao laid the foundation stone for CC Road construction works at a cost of Rs 13 lakhs in 23rdmunicipal ward.

He inspected Komati cheruvu and restoration of graveyard works. Speaking about under-ground drainage, constructing with public involvement, he stressed the importance of water and ask the public to avoid wastage of water. He urged the people to get rid of plastic usage and plant the more trees to reduce global warming.

He assured that the town would be free from mosquitos soon. He appealed to the people to cooperate with municipal officials to finish the works at earliest. Avoid plastic usage Speaking of the plastic menace, the MLA said that six out of ten members were dying of cancer. Using plastic would have serious effects on humans as well as animals, he cautioned.
He also stressed the importance of planting trees.

He said that everybody should plant at least one tree to ensure pollution free climate. He made them aware of drinking water usage. Municipal chairman Rajnarsu, vice-chairman Attar Patel and other councillors were present.
