Corporator Shanthi on Tuesday said that they were making all efforts for the allround development of Nacharam division She got to know of several problems in the division during her recent inspections She impressed upon the authorities to lay new roads in place of old and damaged ones at Scientist Colony in Habsiguda The expenditure for the renovation was Rs 155 crore
Nacharam: Corporator Shanthi on Tuesday said that they were making all efforts for the all-round development of Nacharam division. She got to know of several problems in the division during her recent inspections. She impressed upon the authorities to lay new roads in place of old and damaged ones at Scientist Colony in Habsiguda. The expenditure for the renovation was Rs 1.55 crore.
Fresh proposals were also being put to lay new roads in the division. The expansion of roads is taken up to meet needs of areas with significant increase in population, says Shanthi. One of the major demands from the people in the division was for widening of roads as traffic density was quite high during peak hours.
Allotment of funds took place as many requests came from the people of the division, she said. Shankar, a resident of Scientist Colony, expressed his happiness thus: “There will be no problem from now on in our daily routine as new roads are laid.” Local leaders Sekhar, Younus, work inspector Vijay Kumar and others were present.
