Alwal: The workers at Alwal GHMC ward no 132, circle no 16, took the initiative to take out a candle march rally in Rajeev Nagar Colony recently.More than 50 people took part in the rally along with the Swachh Dooths. The Swachh Survekshan programme is being conducted across the country.
The GHMC staff spoke to the residents of Rajeev Nagar Colony on waste management and the need to segregate dry and wet waste. They also distributed green and blue color dustbins to colony people.DR. A Nirmala, AMHO of Alwal GHMC, circle no 16, said, “The GHMC workmen are taking care of cleaning the area and explaining to the local people about the benefits of cleanliness”.
