Lalaguda: The primary school located in the GHMC Community Hall is jampacked since 10 classes are run in one room. At least 60 students are pursuing education in Urdu and English media.
When it comes to number of teachers, there are two each for Urdu and English and one vidya volunteer has been teaching Telugu language. The headmaster of the school is also forced to occupy a part of the room. Mid-day meal is being provided to the students regularly. As all the classes are located in single room, teachers are facing difficulty in teaching. Given the situation, people in the locality are not showing interest in joining their wards to study in the school. The school is being accommodated in the community hall since 2011. The staff and the people request that the authorities concerned provide a building with a sufficient number of classrooms for smooth functioning of the school.
