Peddapalli: A mentally disturbed woman on Monday beat her two sons by hitting them with brick killing one of them instantly, while another son died while undergoing treatment in a hospital.
According to police, Bhadri Srikanth and Rama Devi along with their two sons – Ajay (10) and Arya (7) lives in Saptagiri Colony of Godavarikhani in Peddapalli. Both are working as teachers in a private school. Due to her rash behaviour with the students, school management removed Rama Devi from the job recently. Heated arguments are reportedly going on between the husband and wife for quite some time.
When Srinivas went for shopping on Monday, Rama Devi beat her two sons with bricks. Ajay died on the spot with severe head injuries. After coming back, Srinivas found Ajay dead and Arya bleeding heavily with injuries. He immediately admitted him in a nearby hospital and later shifted to Karimnagar hospital, where he died. The police registered a case and arrested Rama Devi and started investigation.
