A 23yearold woman climbed a cell phone tower and threatened to commit suicide by jumping from it at Pegadapalli village on Tuesday According to Inspector Kakatiya University Camput Raghavender Rao, Damera Malini 23 working as a nurse in a private hospital climbed a cell phone tower alleging that her friend Nakka Babu had deceived her promising to marry her
Warangal: A 23-year-old woman climbed a cell phone tower and threatened to commit suicide by jumping from it at Pegadapalli village on Tuesday. According to Inspector (Kakatiya University Camput) Raghavender Rao, Damera Malini (23) working as a nurse in a private hospital climbed a cell phone tower alleging that her friend Nakka Babu had deceived her promising to marry her.
Malini and Babu, who both hail from Pegadapalli village under Hasanparthy mandal, were in love with each other for the last nine years. Since Babu recently got a job in Singareni collieries as an electrician, he started avoiding Malini. It’s alleged that Babu, who is greedy of dowry, had been intentionally avoiding her.
Malini, who tried her best to convince Babu, climbed a cell tower and threatened to jump to death. The police swung into action and pacified her after a lot of effort. Later, she was admitted to a private hospital. Both Malini and Babu were counselled by SHE team.
