Constable selection: Physical tests continue
On the 21st day of physical tests for police constable selection, 905 candidates of the 1,000 called attended the physical tests, while the remaining 95 candidates failed to turn up
Khammam: On the 21st day of physical tests for police constable selection, 905 candidates of the 1,000 called attended the physical tests, while the remaining 95 candidates failed to turn up.
Speaking to the media, Khammam police commissioner Tafseer Iqbal said that of the 905 candidates attended, only 822 were qualified after height and chest measurements.
Of the 822 candidates, 477 candidates successfully qualified in the further events like shot-put, long jump and high jump. Members of a health team deployed examined the candidates before they took part in the events held on the day.
The selection process at the Parade Grounds was monitored carefully by the police commissioner. Deputy Commissioner of Police Muralidhar, AR Shyam Sundar, ACP Satyanarayana and others were also part of the monitoring team.
