NTR's Ramayya Vastavayya, the much awaited movie of the actor hit theatres on Friday morning. Theatres were packed and fans'joy knew no bounds to finally see their favourite star on the big screen. Thunderous rounds of applause, howls and whistles marked the first day first show of the movie in most theatres.
The film directed by Hari Shankar of Gabbar Singh fame and produced by Dil Raju has Jr NTR, Shruti Haasan and Samantha in the lead roles. SS Thaman has scored the music for Ramayya Vastavayya.
The movie, however, has opened to mixed reviews. When Harish Shankar took up the challenge of directing Jr NTR after his much acclaimed Gabbar Singh with Pawan Kalyan, there was a lot of hype. The people's verdict is that the movie lacks comedy with an overdose of violence.
Film buffs say watch it only if you an NTR fan.
