Only BJP can create T : Venkaiah

Warangal: The Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader M Venkaiah Naidu has called upon the people to come close to the party for its victory in the 2014 elections and to achieve Telangana state.

Addressing the "Praja chaitanya sadassu" here on Saturday he reiterated the BJP's commitment to the cause and asserted that the according statehood to the region would only be possible with the BJP party.

He exhorted the people to teach a fitting lesson to Congress party that backtracked on its promise made in 2004 election regarding formation of Telangana state. The appealed the people in Telangana to support the party in the elections so as to realise the dream of achieving statehood to the region.

The Bharatiya Janata Party will support the separate Telangana if the Congress-led UPA government tables the bill in Parliament in ensuing session Venkaiah Naidu stated. Hundreds of youth have died for cause yet the Congress government was dilly dallying in taking a decision to find a solution on the statehood issue, he alleged.

If Congress party fails to keeps its promise of granting statehood to Telangana, the BJP would do it. The party would address the issue with in 100 days of forming the government at the centre, he noted. Venkaiah Naidu asserted that no regional party would be able to achieve state of Telangana only national party like BJP could do it.

Referring to the national politics he said people were looking towards BJP which was set to form the government at Centre in the next elections. BJP leaders Bandaru Dattatreya, N Indrasena Reddy, T Rajeshwar Rao, M Dharma Rao, V Sriramulu and several other leaders attended the meeting.
