Warangal: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) student wing general secretary and Kakatiya University Student Joint Action Committee founder-president K Vasudeva Reddy met TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao at latter’s residence in Hyderabadon Wednesday.
Disclosing the details of his meeting with K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said that the Kakatiya University students were like oxygen to the Telangana movement and their role was bigger than any other university in the region.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi President lauded the role played by student wing general secretary Vasudeva Reddy during the critical times of agitation in North Telangana districts. He thanked him and others for active role despite official repression on the T movement.
He also heaped praises on the Kakatiya University students for taking the agitation to the villages apart from Warangal city. KCR assured that the student activists’ role would be bigger in the reconstruction of Telangana State once it is officially carved out.
