Eluru (West Godavari): The spot valuation programme of SSC examination papers has begun under the auspice of District Educational Officer R Narasimha Rao at the local JVR High School here on Friday. Assistant Commissioner for Government Examinations Shankar Rao and 1,500 teachers were appointed for the programme. Expert teachers of concerned subjects were also appointed. Speaking on the occasion, DEO Narasimha Rao said that the spot valuation programme would be conducted till April 24. Valuation of 5,48,800 answer papers would be conducted at Eluru, he said. He said that necessary steps were taken to ensure that trouble-free conduct of the valuation. The bar coding process is completed for the valuation. As many as 166 chief examiners, 986 assistant examiners, and 324 special assistants and 14 camp assistant officers were assigned. The Deputy DEO Ravindranath Reddy, Jogeshwar Rao and others officals were present on the occasion.
