The Faculty of Science and Technology of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education University (IFHE) has qualified to participate in the Grand Final of India's biggest Aero-modeling workshop and competitions to be held at IIST Campus Trivandrum on March 23. The IFHE a deemed University organised a two - day workshop on Aero-modeling on March 16 and 17 at its Campus at Sankarpally Road, Hyderabad, a release on Tuesday said. The preliminary rounds of workshop are being organised at various places in the country by the various institutions in collaboration with Bangalore based Aerotrix and Indian Institute of Space and Technology (IIST) Trivandrum. Around 134 students, 26 teams from 8 reputed engineering colleges across the country have participated in the two-day workshop at IFHE. The Participants have developed a design and fabricated mini aircrafts under the guidance of the professionals which were flown in the air through the remote control. It was an amazing experience for the students to see their mini air crafts fly high. Dr.J.Mahender Reddy, Vice Chancellor � ICFAI, Dr. Venu Verma, Managing Director of SISTEAM Group, Dr MS Reddy Director-FST and Prof. A Chandrashekar, convener of the workshop were also present.
