Hyderabad: The Telangana Football Association (TFA) has mourned the demise of former national footballer B.R. Vivekananda, who passed away at the age of 71. He was employed with South Central Railway and is survived by a daughter.Vivekananda began his football career with Bollarum Sporting Club before representing Andhra Pradesh in the Junior National Championships in 1976 and the Senior National Championships in 1978. He also represented Indian Railways in 1979, making valuable contributions to the sport. Expressing grief over his passing, the TFA conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and remembered his contribution to Indian football.

The Telangana Football Association (TFA) is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of National Player B.R Vivekananda aged 71 years worked in South Central Railway and survived by one daughter. He played for Bollarum Sporting club and then represented Andhra Pradesh team in Junior Nationals 1976 and Andhra Pradesh team in senior National in 1978 and Represented Indian Railways in 1979.
