Highlights

This is Apple's 31st Worldwide Developer's Conference and the first virtual conference in these 31 years.

WWDC, Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference brings together developers and creatives from around the world, will start today with a keynote speech at 10:30 pm IST. This year due to pandemic Apple is forced to host a virtual show, and it is going to make some big announcements.

WWDC is an annual event where Apple displays its significant software updates to all its devices, which includes iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and Watch. Generally, Apple doesn't launch any hardware at WWDC, but it is known to surprise us with something or the other. This is what we can expect from Apple at WWDC 2020.

Apple is also rumoured to switch to its own ARM chipset for MacBook. These new ARM chips can improve the performance of future MacBook devices. Though, we don't expect any new MacBook to launch with ARM.

iPhoneOS 14 promo video leaked before unveiling

Jon Prosser, a noted Apple tipster, had recently suggested that this year Apple will rename its OS from iOS to iPhoneOS which means the Apple's next-generation OS for iPhones would be iPhoneOS 14 rather than iOS 14.

A tipster Max Weinbach has shared a leaked promo video of the upcoming iPhoneOS 14 on Twitter just ahead of the official unveiling and confirmed that Apple might be planning to rename its OS.

The teaser says that iPhoneOS 14 will be the next OS for the iPhones, and if the video is real, then it will not bring any new features except a wallpaper.
