The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) workers staged a unique protest regarding their wage hike.
The workers climbed atop of the cell tower at Mal village of Chintapalli mandal here at Nalgonda and have been protesting for the last 18 hours. The officials tried to pacify the workers and bring them down but in vain.
Due to their protest, several areas in Hyderabad ran out of water.
