Agriculture offices told to upload info on app to benefit ryots in Patancheru
Medak District Agriculture Officer B Narasimha Rao on Friday directed the department’s mandal-level officials to upload comprehensive information for the benefit of farmers on the Cobo App.
Patancheru: Medak District Agriculture Officer B Narasimha Rao on Friday directed the department's mandal-level officials to upload comprehensive information for the benefit of farmers on the Cobo App.
Speaking after participating in the 'Rythu Nestham' programme, along with Agriculture Extension Officers (AEOs), in Pocharam and Batchhuguda villages and reviewing the details filed by the AEOs and their work, he stated that the information would be filed in the app as directed by the district collector.
Rao asked AEOs to daily visit villages and interact with 20-25 farmers and create awareness among them how to solve their problems. 'You should file details of farmers, their crops and problems in the app', he told AEOs. Among those present included Mandal Agriculture Officer Usha, AEOs Devi Singh, Mahesh, sarpanches of the villages, MPTC members, farmers.
