AVM School: Bala Gandhis give message of peace to people in Nakarekal
The 150th Gandhi Jayanti celebrations were organised on a grand note at AVM School in Nakarekal in the district on Saturday.
Nakrekal (Nalgonda): The 150th Gandhi Jayanti celebrations were organised on a grand note at AVM School in Nakarekal in the district on Saturday. Students of the school dressed as Bala Gandhi to mark the occasion and give a message to follow the Mahatma Gandhi's ideals to strive for peace and sustainable development.
Teachers Union leader and educationalist MV Gona Reddy spoke about the Nai Taleem which has relevance today when the Education Policy 2019 is about to be implemented . BC Corporation Shembaiah criticised those who are trying to claim the legacy of Gandhi though they are responsible for the assassination of Mahatma.
The speakers further advised the gathering to carry forward the philosophy and ideals of Gandhi.
AVM School correspondent Kandala Papi Reddy presided over the function. In this programme, Nakarekal sarpanch Pannala Rangamma, Yanala Prabhaker Reddy, Daiada Ravi Kumar, Merugu Madu, Kode Srinivas and school students participated.
