Camp held for people with disabilities

Medak: SADAREM (Software for Assessment of Disabled Access Rehabilitation and Empowerment) camp was organised at the district collectorate here on Tuesday. People from Shivampet, Narsapur (urban and rural), Koudipalli, Chilipched, Toopran (urban and rural), Manoharabad, Chegunta, Narsingi, Medak (urban and rural) attended the camp.

As many as 840 people attended the camp, in which 519 persons had physical disabilities, 106 were mentally challenged, 117 were deaf and dumb, and 118 blind. Dr Chandrasekhar, Dr Jagadish, Dr Kiranreddy, Dr Srikanth supervised the camp. Staff of district rural development and others were present.
