Chalmeda trains guns on Congress over Vemulawada development

Rajanna- Sircilla: BRS Vemulawada constituency in-charge Chalmeda Lakshmi Narasimha Rao on Thursday claimed that the “countdown for the Congress party has begun” among the people and criticised MLA Aadi Srinivas over alleged delays in development works.

Addressing the media at his residence in Vemulawada, Chalmeda questioned the achievements of the Congress government during its 34-month tenure. He alleged that farmers were facing difficulties over urea supply, irrigation water and electricity, and urged the government to fill the Malkapet reservoir to capacity and implement pending lift irrigation schemes.

He also alleged that development works in MLA Aadi Srinivas’s native village Rudrangi remained incomplete and raised concerns over delays in the proposed 30-bed hospital and police station buildings.

Chalmeda sought transparency in expenditure on Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple development and urged the MLA to focus on public issues instead of criticising BRS leaders.
