CM Revanth Reddy announces Rs 70,000 cr Tata AI Data Centre Project in the State

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that the Tata project would create blue-collar jobs, pointing out that this was the reason why a Skill University was born. The Chief Minister met a delegation from TCS and Hypervolt at the Secretariat here today (Saturday) and said that they have proposed to set up the country's largest AI data centre campus.

TCS, Hypervolt, and their associate companies are ready to invest up to Rs 70,000 crore in the project, which would be set up in more than 250 acres in Hyderabad with a capacity of 1 gigawatt. It would generate around 7,000 jobs directly and indirectly. CM Revanth Reddy made these remarks after the meeting with the TCS delegation.

"I have seen my dreams come true with the Tata project. I am elated that such a big investment has happened in Telangana. When (Tata Sons Chairman) Chandrasekaran met me in Davos, I requested him to invest in Telangana. The 1 gigawatt data centre project that Tata, TCS, and HyperVolt will set up is an investment of Rs 70,000 crore in the state, he said. It will also create employment for 7,000 people. I will also lay the foundation for a radial road to the Kongara Kalan Future City, which will be dedicated to Bharat Ratna Ratan Tata," he added.
