Danam Nagender says he welcome Supreme Court verdict, says he has people's support

Danam Nagender has expressed his satisfaction with the Supreme Court’s decision regarding his disqualification as an MLA, asserting that he retains strong support from the public.

He had previously challenged the High Court’s ruling on his disqualification, but the Supreme Court dismissed his petition on Thursday. Speaking to the media afterwards, Nagender stated:

"I had expected this outcome when I contested as an MP. There is nothing wrong with pursuing a legal battle. I hoped for relief under the Tenth Schedule. The Supreme Court has said I can contest future elections. I have served every household; people know who I am. The Chief Minister will clarify about contesting the upcoming by-election. I have won three times before, losing only one by-election by 1,600 votes. Conditions are favourable, and I believe we will repeat the Jubilee Hills results. Khairatabad is my stronghold, and we will work together to secure victory." Danam said.
