Hyderabad: The Madhapur police on Sunday registered a case against Patancheru former MLA Nandeswar Goud's son Ashish Goud for allegedly outraging modesty of a woman.

According to Madhapur SHO S Venkat Reddy they received a complaint from 27-year-old model and former contestant of Big Boss-Telugu in which she stated that Ashish Goud and his two friends on Saturday night molested her by forcibly catching her hands and used abusive language against her.

The incident occurred at a pub of a reputed hotel in Madhapur.

The complainant alleged that Ashish and his friends threw glass bottles on the floor and tried to hit them.

She said that the bouncers and the organisers supported Ashish and asked them to leave the place. Based on her complaint, the police registered a case against him under sections 354, 509 IPC and took up investigation.

The police said that they will seek clarification from Ashish and his friends and also question others involved. The police would verify the CCTV footage to get a clarity in the case. Meanwhile, speaking to the media, Ashish Goud said the allegations made by the model were false and baseless.

He said he went to his friend's birthday party at the pub and requested the bouncers to move them aside and arrange the tables so they can celebrate.

But she rejected to move and argued with the bouncers. He said the facts would come out after the police verify the CCTV footage.
