Falaknuma: TSRTC Employees along with All Party Leaders and JAC Leaders paid rich floral tributes at the portrait of Karimnagar RTC Driver N Babu who died of a heart attack on October 30, in the latest spate of deaths.

Addressing the employees at Falaknuma bus depot on Friday, JAC Leaders M Shanker and KS Rao said if State government did not respond to their demands, they would intensify the strike in coming days. They felt that it was really unfortunate that the government failed to issue any statement even after the deaths of 15 RTC employees.

State Youth Congress spokesperson SP Kranthi Kumar requested RTC employees not to take their own lives and strive for their cause. Congress party and senior leaders were supporting the ongoing RTC strike and their demands, he said. The RTC strike that started 28 days ago was getting support of all sections of the people and it was hoped the High Court would instruct State government to initiative serious talks and resolve their problems at the earliest.

Congress leader K Venkatesh, BJP Leaders Roopraj, P Laxman, BMS leader Mohd Yousuf, social activist MV Ram Kumar, JAC leaders Nirupa Rani, Aruna, Srilatha, BBK Reddy, Sudhakar, Moiz, Raghupathi, MM Khan, B Nayak and other employees participated in the meeting and paid condolences to the deceased RTC employees.
