Mahabubabad: The police on Wednesday arrested four persons and seized 36 kgs of dried ganja worth around Rs 1.80 lakh from them.
Superintendent of Police N Koti Reddy said the accused were identified as Vankudoth Bhadramma, Chikkudu Vijay
Kumar, Gundu Rakesh and Kompelli Krishna.
Bhadramma, a native of Mahabubabad, was previously arrested for transporting Ganja and was also jailed. The remaining members of the gang were hired to transport
the Ganja and sell it in Secunderabad area.
The police arrested the gang when it was transporting ganja from Mahabubabad to Hyderabad in a TSRTC bus near Pedda Vangara village under Thorrur mandal.
