Hyderabad: TRS party senior leader and Mahbubnagar MP A P Jitendar Reddy joined the BJP in the presence of the party national president Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday. Jitender Reddy was denied party ticket to contest from Mahbubnagar Lok Sabha constituency.
He has been maintaining cordial relations with BJP though he was elected on the TRS ticket. He was elected as MP from BJP in 1998 and 1999 elections from the same Lok Sabha constituency. He will take up campaign in support of the BJP candidate D K Aruna contesting from Mahbubnagar.
