Haritha Haram, Swachh Bharat works reviewed
The District Collector, Ayesha Masrat Khanam, said planting of saplings should be done as per the targets as there was plentiful of rains in the region.
Vikarabad: The District Collector, Ayesha Masrat Khanam, said planting of saplings should be done as per the targets as there was plentiful of rains in the region. She reviewed the progress of Haritha Haram and Swachh Bharat in Vikarabad and Parigi constituencies, here at Narsing Function hall on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector directed the officials to take up avenue plantation alongside the roads. she said that every planted sapling should be protected and sarpanches of respective villages should be responsible for it. She said only 36 percent of plantation has been done so far and ordered concerned officials to complete the task by end of this month.
Focusing on Swachh Bharat programme, she told officials to complete the construction of individual toilets to declare the district ODF by August 15. DRO Mothilal, DRDO Johnson, ZP CEO Srikanth Reddy, district special officers, MPDOs, field assistants, village secretaries and others were present.
