Heavy rains likely to lash Hyderabad for three more days

Light to moderate rains are likely to lash Telangana over the next three days due to the low-pressure area over interior Odisha and neighbourhood, predicted the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
On the other hand, parts of Telangana like Khammam and Kothagudem have witnessed heavy downpour on Friday. The downpour also occurred in several parts of erstwhile Nizamabad districts.
While the traffic flow was disrupted in Hyderabad from Thursday night due to incessant rainfall. Areas like Medchal, Patancheru, Hakimpet and other areas received heavy rainfall on Friday.
However, the rainfall will be continued for three more days due to the low-pressure area over Odisha and neighbourhood along with the associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 5.8 km above the sea level.
