Malkajgiri: Janata Curfew, a call given by the PM Narendra Modi and the CM KCR, to control the spread of Coronavirus, had good response in Malkajgiri as all the main roads in area wore deserted look on Sunday. Only people those who were seen on the roads were those who needed emergency services.
People locked themselves in their houses in response to the PM's call. Many came out into their balconies at 5 pm to appreciate efforts of doctors, healthcare officials, police and other staff essential services for their services to people by clapping and ringing bells. Most of the junctions remained deserted throughout the day and police counselled some people and send them back to their houses.
In Malkajgiri GHMC circle, GHMC circle deputy commissioner Dasarath monitored sanitation works and Malkajgiri CI Manmohan and Neredmet CI Narsimha Swamy monitored law and order situation in the area.
