Increase normal deliveries in govt hospitals: Collector Prashanthi

Nirmal: District Collector M Prashanthi told Ayush medical officers to take steps to increase normal deliveries in government hospitals. Addressing a meeting with medial officers here on Monday, the Collector enquired about the State child health programme and told the Ayush authorities to maintain records.
Instructing the officials to increase normal deliveries in primary health centers, Prashanthi asked the medical officers to create awareness among the women on the benefits of normal deliveries. She advised them to affix wallposters to bring awareness among the people in rural areas.
She also visited medical college and instructed the authorities concerned to conduct exams for the medicos.
District Medical and Health Officer Jalapathi Naik, Assistant Medical Officer Srinivas, Karthik and medical officers and others were present.
