Sitamma Sagar Project likely to be completed by September 2022, informed Irrigation Principal Secretary Rajat Kumar. Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Rajat Kumar said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would lay foundation stone for Sitamma Sagar Project and directed the officials to speed up the preparations.

Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Rajat Kumar said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would lay foundation stone for Sitamma Sagar Project and directed the officials to speed up the preparations.
Rajat Kumar and CMO Secretary Smita Sabharwal inspected Sita Rama Lift Irrigation Project in the district on Sunday and visited the project first phase pump house at BG Kothur in Aswapuram mandal and the site proposed for Sitamma Sagar Project at Ammagaripalli.
They directed the contractor to start the concrete works in March and to make the material ready for the purpose.
The officials were directed to speed up the process of acquiring 3200 acres of land needed for the Sitamma Sagar Project.
Government Whip R Kantha Rao, Government Advisor Penta Reddy, District Collector Dr MV Reddy, ITDA Project Officer P Gowtham, Additional Collector Anudeep D and Chief Engineer Venkata Krishna were present.
