Minister for Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav has announced Rs 2 lakh financial assistance to comedian Venu Madhav's last rites who died due to various complications of liver and kidney.
Talasani paid a visit to the hospital and expressed grief over the comedian's death. "Venu Madhav is like my younger brother, it is very painful to lose such an actor at a very young age," he said.
He was admitted to the hospital on September 6 after his health condition deteriorated following kidney and liver ailments. He was put on a ventilator. The actor breathed his last today around 12.21 pm at Yashoda Hospitals in Secunderabad. He was survived by wife Sree Vani and two sons -- Savikar and Prabhakar.
