Ministers direct officials to fast-track revenue, housing works
Khanapur: A review meeting on Revenue and Housing Construction departments was held at the Nirmal Collectorate on Monday, with State Revenue, Information and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and State Excise and Cultural Minister and district in-charge Jupally Krishna Rao reviewing development programmes in the erstwhile Adilabad district.
The ministers reviewed land administration, maintenance of records, registrations, stamps and pending revenue applications, directing officials to provide services transparently and resolve applications within stipulated timelines.
They also reviewed government housing schemes, beneficiary selection and the progress of house construction. Officials were instructed to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive benefits and that pending construction works are completed within deadlines through continuous field-level monitoring.
The ministers stressed that public grievances should be addressed on priority and called for better coordination among departments.
MLAs Vedma Bojju Patel, Pawar Ramarao Patel, Anil Jadhav and Kovva Lakshmi, collectors and senior officials attended the meeting. Earlier, the ministers laid foundation stones for development works worth Rs 23.35 crore.
