One killed, two critically hurt in separate accidents in Mahbubnagar
One person was killed and two others were severely injured in two separate accidents in Wanaparthy and Kodangal mandals of erstwhile Mahbubnagar district on Friday.
Mahbubnagar: One person was killed and two others were severely injured in two separate accidents in Wanaparthy and Kodangal mandals of erstwhile Mahbubnagar district on Friday.
In the first incident, one person was killed when the bike on which he was travelling skid at Gumpugattu village of Kotthakota mandal of Wanaparthy district. According to an eyewitness, the bike rider suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot due to profuse bleeding. The onlookers called the 108-ambulance. However, by the time the ambulance reached the spot, the man was declared dead due to severe bleeding.
The police visited the spot and shifted the dead body to Wanaparthy government hospital for necropsy. They registered a case and took up the investigation.
In the second incident, a lorry which was heading towards Mahbubnagar from Kodangal lost control at Husnabad gate and overturned. Two persons who were travelling in the lorry were severely hurt. The Kodangal police who came to know about the accident immediately rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Kodangal government hospital for treatment.
