Telangana BLOs available to register new voters
Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will be available at polling stations across Telangana on 15 and 16 October to help people register as voters.
Chief Electoral Officer Sudarshan Reddy has directed Electoral Registration Officers to ensure a BLO is present at every polling station. He also instructed officials to give all eligible applicants the opportunity to register and to verify applications in line with the prescribed rules.
Applications for new voter registration must be submitted using Form 6. They will be accepted and processed under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR-2026), with eligible applicants added to the final electoral roll after verification.
People whose names are missing from the roll, as well as those registering for the first time, can visit their local polling station to speak with a BLO. They can ask about the application process and required documents, and check that their existing electoral details are correct.
