Two people were killed after a DCM van rammed into a two-wheeler in Nalgonda on Friday morning.

The deceased identified as Chintha Narasimha (45) and Devarakonda Srinivas (44), both the residents of Cherlapally village were killed on Narketpally-Adhanki road near Cherlapally village around 9 am. After collided with the two-wheeler, the DCM van sped away from the spot.

Narsimha and Devarakonda Srinivas who were watchmen of Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) were going to Narketpally to attend their duties when the accident occurred.

The Nalgona police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the district government hospital for post-mortem. An investigation was launched based on the CCTV footage installed at the accident spot.
