Wanaparthy villages’ leaders, youth join BJP

A significant number of leaders and youth from Shapuram and Appireddipalle villages of Wanaparthy district joined the BJP on Thursday in the presence of State Vice President Shantikumar. Addressing the media, Shantikumar welcomed the new entrants, noting that leaders from Congress and BRS were joining the BJP after losing faith in their former parties.
He criticised Congress for making false promises during the last Assembly elections despite the state debt burden of Rs 6 lakh crore, accusing the party of misleading voters and failing to deliver on its pledges. He emphasised that many activists are now turning to the BJP, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance and welfare initiatives.
Shantikumar highlighted the leadership of Modi during the pandemic, providing free rations, and his proactive measures to reduce excise duty on petrol. He described the new joinings as small drops that will one day form an ocean, strengthening the future of the party in Telangana and contributing to the vision of a developed India.
He appealed to the youth to embrace the ideology of the BJP, participate in principled politics, and help build a transparent system. He urged citizens to work towards bringing the party to power in the state.
