Warangal to be developed ON lines OF Hyderabad: MLA Naini
Hanumakonda: Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy on Tuesday said the government was committed to developing Warangal city on par with Hyderabad and giving it a major facelift. Speaking at a media conference at the Hanumakonda DCC Bhavan, he said a detailed review of development works was held till 11 pm on Monday, with timelines fixed for key projects.
MLA Naini said special focus was being placed on Mamunur Airport, underground drainage, the ring road, hospitals, the Oddepally filter bed and temple development. He said the State government had released around Rs 300 crore for airport land
acquisition and urged the Centre to expedite the remaining works.
He said the government had begun work on the Rs 550-crore filter-bed project to meet future drinking-water needs. Nayini also defended the Gandhi family and criticised BJP and BRS, alleging that both parties were similar in their political approach.
