MLA launches new electrical sub-station
MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy inaugurated electrical sub-station set up at a cost of Rs 8 crore at Lakshmipuram in Guntur city on Friday.
Guntur: MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy inaugurated electrical sub-station set up at a cost of Rs 8 crore at Lakshmipuram in Guntur city on Friday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said commercial complexes were coming up in Pattabhipuram, Lakshmipuram and Brodipet and to meet increasing power needs of the business establishments there was need to set up a 33/11 KV electrical sub-station in the city.
Because of new electrical power sub-station, power supply would improve and consumers would get quality power.
He informed that the new sub-station was set up with the Sweedan technology. Some more sub-stations would be installed in the city. GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha said that the GMC had allotted land in the heart of the city to construct electrical sub-station which would improve power supply.
SPDCL Superintendent Engineer Jayabharat Rao, said the SPDCL would work with the GMC for city development.GMC anb SPDCL officials were also present.
