3 TTD Board members sworn-in Tirumala
Three members in the newly formed TTD Trust Board, including an ex-officio member, have sworn-in Tirumala temple on Saturday.
Tirumala: Three members in the newly formed TTD Trust Board, including an ex-officio member, have sworn-in Tirumala temple on Saturday. At a brief ceremony held at Bangaru Vakili of the temple, TTD JEO P Basanth Kumar administered the oath of office and secrecy to the three members.
Initially, Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) Chairman Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy had sworn in as ex-officio member. Later Krishnamoorthy Vaidyanathan took oath at 10:50 am while V Prasanthi Reddy took oath by 11 am.
Bhaskar Reddy said that he got an opportunity to serve the Lord for the third time with the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy while Sri Krishnamoorthy also thanked the almighty for the opportunity. Prasanthi Reddy said she will make use of this opportunity to offer better services to the pilgrims.
TTD authorities scheduled the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed members, including the 4 ex-officio members and seven special invitees, on Monday from 9 a.m. to 10.30 am in Tirumala temple. But the three members wanted to take oath on Saturday.CVSO Gopinath Jatti, Temple DyEO Harindranath, DyEO General Sudharani and others were present.
