Eluru: Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani has said the State government has decided to offer Rs 1,321 crore worth loans to 5.52 lakh members of DWCRA in West Godavari district during 2019-20.
A group of DWCRA members from different parts of the district approached the Minister on Tuesday and complained that they did not get loans so far. The Minister replied that so far, the State government extended loans worth Rs 429 crore to 1.68 lakh women.
Loans to the remaining DWCRA members would be extended soon to fulfill the ambition of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to make every woman a 'Lakshadhikari'.
