Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court to re-start the trial against TDP chief and AP Caretaker CM N Chandrababu Naidu over the illegal assets case filed by Lakshmi Parvathi.

In 2005 Lakshmi Parvathi, wife of late CM NT Rama Rao has approached the ACB court that Chandrababu Naidu had amassed illegal assets. At that time on the petition, CM Naidu has gone to the Supreme court and got stay on the case.

Recently, with the orders of the Supreme court, the long pending stay order on the cases have been lifted up. With this, the stay order on Chandrababu Naidu's case has also got canceled.

The ACB court in Hyderabad summoned petitioner Lakshmi Parvathi and took her statement whether the court should re-start the trial on the petition on Friday.

Where Lakshmi Parvathi said to the court that she stands by her petition. Speaking to media, she said that Chandrababu Naidu and his family members have amassed illegal assets by misusing their positions. The court adjourned the case to 13 May for further hearing.
