Agriculture minister Kurasala Kannababu holds review meeting
Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu has said five farmer reassurance centers would be set up in each zone.
Kakinada: Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu has said five farmer reassurance centers would be set up in each zone. He held a review meeting at the camp office on Tuesday.
Kannababu said that these centers include YSR Agriculture Input Shop and Village Science Center. He said that farmers are being trained in these centers. Seeds, fertilizers and pesticides will be made available to farmers at YSR Agricultural Input Shop.
He said that agricultural inputs will be directly supplied to the farmers from hub centers set up in each zonal center. About 2000 farmer reassurance centers across the state will be set up in the first phase. Agriculture Joint Director KSV Prasad and Deputy Director VT Rama Rao and others were present on the occasion.
