Andhra Pradesh state president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana on Thursday accused YSRCP government of trying to win the local body elections by bringing the various laws in to force.
Andhra Pradesh state president Kanna Lakshmi Narayana on Thursday accused YSRCP government of trying to win the local body elections by bringing the various laws in to force. Speaking at a conference with state-level BJP leaders in Guntur, Kanna found fault in the Navaratnalu scheme stating it to be a false idea, which meant to deceive people.
He directed the party cadre to be prepared for the local body elections and asserted that the BJP would contest in the elections in alliance with Jana Sena. Kanna said that the party is contemplating to constitute a committee headed by Purandeshwari in the wake of local body elections.
He said that the development works in the villages is taking place with the funds provided by the Center. "The regional parties have lost sanctity and it is on the national parties that would develop the state," Kanna opined.
