In this context, the Andhra Pradesh government paid a rich tribute to Balasubrhamanyam by naming the music and dance school in Nellore after Dr. SP Balasubrhamanyam. It is knew that SP Balasubrhamanyam was born and raised in Nellore.

The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday issued orders adding the name of SP Balasubrahmanyam to the government music and dance school in Nellore district. Industry Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy tweeted this.

"Recognising the legendary singer #SPBalu, our Govt has decided to rename the Government School of Music & Dance in Nellore as "Dr. S P Balasubramanyam Government School of Music & Dance" Gautam Reddy tweeted.


Meanwhile, SP Balasubrhamanyam son SP Charan responded to this. He said he was happy to name the government music and dance school after Balasubrahmanyam. Charan thanked the AP government and CM Jaganmohan Reddy through Twitter. "Great full to the Andhra Pradesh government and chief minister YS Jagan for the honour," SP Charan tweeted.
